1. General Terms
These terms and conditions govern your use of Build Warranty Insurance Services Ltd warranty products and services. By purchasing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Warranty Coverage
Our structural warranty provides coverage for major structural defects as defined in the policy documentation. Coverage periods and specific terms vary by product type. All warranties are subject to technical inspections and approval.
3. Technical Inspections
All properties must undergo technical auditing at key construction stages. Inspections must be arranged in advance and carried out by our approved inspectors. Inspection information, reports, photographs, notes and supporting documents may be submitted or managed through our Client App, Partner App, Surveyor App or other approved systems. Failure to comply with inspection requirements may void warranty coverage.
4. Client App, Partner App and Surveyor App
Our Client App, Partner App and Surveyor App are provided to help manage warranty applications, inspections, reports, documents, communications and related services. Users must ensure that any information submitted through the apps is accurate, complete and kept up to date where required. Access to the apps may be restricted, suspended or withdrawn where necessary for security, misuse, technical issues or service administration.
5. App Permissions and Submitted Information
The apps may require access to certain device permissions, such as camera, files, photos, notifications or location, where required for app functionality. Information submitted through the apps, including photographs, documents, inspection notes, site details, project details, warranty application information and reports, may be used to support warranty services, inspections, audits, claims, record keeping and service delivery. Use of personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
6. Claims Process
Claims must be reported promptly in writing with supporting documentation. We reserve the right to inspect any claimed defect and determine the appropriate course of action. Claims are subject to policy terms, conditions, and exclusions.
7. Payment Terms
Premium payments are due as specified in your quotation. Coverage commences only upon receipt of full payment and completion of required documentation. Late payments may result in coverage suspension or cancellation.
8. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the terms specified in the warranty policy. We are not liable for consequential losses, indirect damages, or losses arising from policy exclusions as detailed in the policy documentation.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and, where appropriate, notified to policyholders. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
